Heroes in the Sky
Heroes in the Sky is the flagship event created by The Fire Within to assist your firefighters in getting out in the community and having some fun, while guaranteeing success with the calendar project.
Send a few of your members up on the roof of a local business at 12:00 noon on a Saturday and leave them up there until 6:00 pm the following day.
The rest of your department will be on the ground selling calendars, meeting the public, and showing off the apparatus to the kids.
This is a fun weekend activity that has proven very successful in terms of calendar sales. Most departments sell over 60% and some have sold 100% of their calendars during this one weekend!
